Birthday portraits

I took the kids for birthday portraits, since their birthdays are only a month apart I can have them taken right in between. Over the next few weeks, I will post them a few at a time. I will start with some of the kids together today. Happy birthday to my beautiful babies!

Should auld acquaintance be forgot...

Happy New Year, 2011! I have always wanted to take a pic of my baby as the New Year's baby, and never been able to work it out until this year. (Big Brother even got in on the action!) Enjoy. Happy New Year!

Self Portrait...sort of...and a collage of Christmas cheer!

I was playing around with my webcam when the boy pushed this button and took my picture. So, it was a sort of self portrait! The boy told me I looked "pretty...for a mom." Too funny! Here is a collage of Christmas pics I took this year. It is a collection of my favorites, though no where near all of the pictures we took! Hope everyone's holiday was Merry and Bright!

Family Christmas Portraits

We took these before church today, in front of our tree, and then in front of the church. We got all spiffied up today for Christmas, though we probably will next week too! I love to be matchy matchy for church. I know it's a sickness, really, but my poor long suffering husband puts up with it and participates.

The journey...

I've always heard that life is not about the destination, it's about the journey. Today that was definitely true. We were headed to meet some friends, and I got lost on the way to their house. I ended up going down this road several times, frustrated, in a hurry, and looking frantically for the street sign (it had blown down...) when I finally looked around at the view...amazing! Totally worth being a few minutes late.

Family Portraits

Momma's portraits

I got to go to an event where a local photographer offered 2 portraits. I don't often get a chance to be the subject of pictures, since I am always the one taking them, so it was kind of nice to get some pictures of just me for a change. I really like this photographer, I'd like to have some family portraits done.

Cuz you're "bootiful"

The boy asked if he could take a picture of me today. I asked why, and he said "I want to always remember you Momma, cuz you're bootiful!" How could I say no to that? This is the picture he took. He is such a sweet heart. What Momma doesn't love to hear that her baby thinks she is "bootiful?"

Family Portraits

We had to take advantage of the GORGEOUS day we had today, so we headed out to take our first family portraits as a family of 4. I posed every one and set the timer, then ran to get into the picture. I think they all turned out pretty well, but these are my favorites.

Last day as a family of 3

Today, we are celebrating our last day of being a family of 3, and preparing to become a family of 4. Daddy, the Boy and I took some pictures and are going out for dinner and a movie. We bought the boy a few presents to celebrate him becoming the big brother, and we bought some groceries for the next few days while the boy is home alone with Nana. It's been a lovely day, and I *think* we are prepared for baby sister's arrival tomorrow. (I will try to post a pic, not sure if the hospital has wi-fi.)

Belly Pics FHE

Tonight for FHE, we took family pics. We realized we hadn't taken any pics of Momma's pregnant belly. Since we only have 31 days left until Baby Girl is born, we felt the need to get them done. There were A LOT of really good ones, it was hard to pick a few to put on here.
