Cool kid, cool picture, cool website
I found a cool website for editing photos. It's www.picnik.com and you can make your pictures all neato looking, like this one. Of course, it helps to have an adorable kid and a great picture to begin with...

Baby Girl's 4 month stats
Baby girl had her 4 month well baby check today. The doctor said she is perfect, and exactly the right size...for a 6 month old! She is sitting up, teething, and doing all the things a 6 month old should be doing. What can I say? We make big perfect babies. Here's how she stacks up...
Height 26 inches - 95 percentile
Weight 16 lbs 9 oz - 95 percentile
Head circumference 41 cm- 75 percentile
She smiled and cooed at the doctor...right up until her immunization shots, then she looked at me like "How could you Momma?!" But she got over it quickly, and has been all smiles since!

Shining example
The boy loves to hang out with the Elders. It melts my heart to see how they treat him with such love. The boy wanted to read "All About Scabs." (I know, eww.) So Elder L read to him. Elder L even took some of the boys toys to try to teach him about red blood cells and fibrin. My boy can learn so much from these bigger boys. Things that you would think have nothing to do with the gospel of Christ, except that by being such good examples, the Elders are teaching my son compassion, charity, and love, which is a perfect example of the gospel of Christ. We are so lucky.

Boy+Boat=LOVE!
Grandpa took the boy and I out on the boat, and the boy was in heaven! Grandpa let him steer and control the throttle. My little speed demon pushed it all the way forward. We fished for a little while but we didn't catch anything quickly enough to keep the boy's interest. It was really fun. Baby girl stayed home with Grandma, and I think the two of them had just as much fun together!

I'm going there someday!
The boy LOVES to see the temple. He was so sad that he didn't get to go in this time. He just stood there in awe gazing at it. I wish I could have gotten a picture of the first time he saw it. Pure joy. We went to Temple square twice, and he had such a good time walking around, looking at the pictures in the visitor's center, touring the conference center, visiting the Church history museum, and of course seeing the temple. It is really special to get to share these moments with my children.

Thank you for being my friend!
We got to meet up with some friends of mine from High school, and their boys. It was fun to reminisce and to see how they've changed. The best thing about it was that after 12 years, there was no awkwardness, we could talk just like we used to. I had a lot of fun, and our afternoon together went by WAY too fast. Thanks girls! I miss you already!

On the road again!
We headed out for our trip to Idaho and Utah today. I decided to take the kids to visit family and friends while Daddy is gone to AT for the Army. WHAT was I thinking? Idaho is a 10 hour drive, and Utah is a 6 hour drive from there...with two kids, including a nursing baby...by MYSELF. The kids actually did quite well, and the trip was not too bad. It was a LONG day, but we made it in time for dinner, and both kids were in good spirits!

This little piggy
I asked hubby the other day if it was too soon to paint baby girl's toes. He looked at me like I was crazy. But I figure, she isn't sucking on them...yet...so what could it hurt?!!? I think they are adorable. They match mine...and brother's. He wanted his toes pink too when Momma painted hers and sister's.
