BIG day!

It is a big day at our house... Daddy got home, and it is baby girl's first birthday!! No time to talk, gotta celebrate!

Ok, for a few days I will feature a picture of the boy from his birthday session. (Please excuse my lack of new pictures each day. I have been super busy with Daddy gone and I have not been taking pictures every day. These are all new to you though!)

Birthday portraits

I took the kids for birthday portraits, since their birthdays are only a month apart I can have them taken right in between. Over the next few weeks, I will post them a few at a time. I will start with some of the kids together today. Happy birthday to my beautiful babies!

School birthday pt. 2

Yesterday's preschool got robot cake pops, today's got mini robot cupcakes. The boy was very excited to share his robots with his friends. He is having a robot themed birthday party this year, and has been obsessed with robots for the past few months. Happy birthday big boy!

School birthday pt. 1

The boy goes to two different preschools, and he got to celebrate his birthday at one of them today. I made robot cake pops and the kids had a lot of fun picking the candy faces off and devouring them. The boy got to wear a "Happy Birthday" crown, and he just LOVES being the center of attention!

Happy birthday little man!

Today is my little guy's birthday. He celebrated all day, and had a lot of fun with the family. His party is not until next week, but he got to open his family presents today and have a cupcake with dinner. Happy birthday sweetie!!

Last day being 3!

The boy turns 4 tomorrow and he is so excited about it. He got dressed for church today and told me he could do it himself because he is a long kid. (He means tall.) He wanted to show me how he knows how old he is, and he told me "big kids go to Kindergarten." He is such a precocious little man. Every day he brings us such joy and laughter. I can't believe he is already 4 years old. My first born is no longer a baby, and it makes me so happy... and sad!

Momma is 30!

The boy has had the hardest time keeping his presents secret this week. He made me a holder for my glasses and a picture of flowers. He has been trying to tell me the about the flowers for several days. He was so excited that he actually opened the presents....and blew out the candles. Funny kid. Baby girl ate her green beans, but she was eyeing the "up down pine cone cake," as the boy calls it!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy's birthday was today, so we had a nice breakfast, opened presents, then went to church. After church, we had fried chicken and mashed potatoes (Daddy's choice!) for dinner, and pineapple upside down cake for dessert. (Or, as the boy calls it..."up down pine cone cake!") We love Daddy very much and we are happy to celebrate with him.
